The museum has admission fees of around $25 and is considered one of the most expensive museums of the city. It has free entry on Fridays due to a sponsorship by Uniqlo. Also, the college students from New York area can get free admission to the place.
The museum has around 850 employees and is one of the highest tax filer in curatorial and management departments of New York.
