The National mall is a mall located in National park in downtown Washington DC. Washington DC is the capital of United States of America and is home to all capital buildings. The National mall is administered by the National Park service and is part of national mall and memorial park unit.
The national mall is visited by around 24 million people annually and it has been made part of many films based on political niche.
The national mall contains many landmarks including National air and space museum, national museum for American history, National Museum for natural history and National Gallery of Art and many others.
Except for National Gallery of Art all other museums on the National mall are part of Smithsonian institution.
